Charlene White and Boy George are taking on their first bushtucker trial together on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! tonight (Friday), but it doesn’t look like things are set to go smoothly.
After former health secretary Matt Hancock took on six trials in a row, the other celebrities have been having a go.
Thursday’s episode saw Owen Warner, Babatunde Aleshe and Scarlette Douglas have their heads stuck in boxes filled with frogs, snakes, and even rats, while elsewhere, Jill Scott had a Fatima Whitbread moment with a cockroach stuck in her ear.
In tonight’s trial, Loose Women star Charlene and Boy George are trying to score all 11 stars for some very hungry campmates.
In a preview clip, Boy George is attempting to get the stars from Charlene’s side of the water tank, but as they’re underwater he can’t quite seem to find.
Meanwhile, Charlene is panicking as the water rises, and at one point, she’s close to climbing out.
‘Take your time Charlene, take your time,’ onlookers Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly encourage as Charlene tries to get the stars through the maze.
‘I can’t reach,’ she cries, before Boy George urges: ‘Yeah you can,’ as she finally does it.
But when she tries to get it through the water tank and pass it over to Boy George, he can’t seem to find it.
‘It’s at the bottom,’ she tells him, as he replies: ‘Is it there? I can’t see it though!’
Then things seem to take a more dramatic turn as Charlene squeals and tries to climb up the ladder out of the tank.
We can only imagine what horrors lurk below…
