Charlotte Crosby was brought to the hospital with what seems to be pneumonia.
The Geordie Shore actress, 33, has been battling sickness for weeks and has now revealed she was sent to the emergency hospital for treatment.
Charlotte revealed on social media on Tuesday that she’d gone to multiple doctors’ visits after struggling to shake a chest illness.
Charlotte provided a health update to her almost nine million followers by sharing a selfie of herself at home in a tracksuit.
‘It’s been a very long 5/6 weeks of coughing/chest infections on and off,’ she began.
‘And the whole time I’ve been struggling I’ve been doing the very most work wise.’
After travelling ‘up and down the country’ by ‘trains, cars and almost planes’, Charlotte said that she’d faced losing her ‘entire voice’ while at work on ‘a couple of occasions’.
‘I’ve not been able to carry out some of the stuff I’ve had to,’ she explained.
She then included a camera emoji in her message, implying that she had to cancel shooting plans.
She continued: ‘Only last week it just got so bad it was unbearable. Not even having one minute in between coughing fits! After two courses of antibiotics failed to shift anything I finally realised I had to slow the f*** down and get to hospital…
‘So that’s where I spent most of yesterday in and out of drs and hospital! with suspected pneumonia.’
She did, however, note that she has since been discharged.
‘I’ve been able to come home now and rest at home with a new course of antibiotics. So, this is where I shall be for the foreseeable…’
Charlotte then announced she’d be resting up in her Pepper Girls’ Club tracksuit, not missing an opportunity to promote her own company.
‘I never have [them] off my back. Apologies, they are just cosy.’
During a TV interview last month, the reality star and entrepreneur sobbed over her wish to have more children.
Charlotte, who has a one-year-old daughter named Alba with fiancé Jake Ankers, appeared on This Morning when she grew tearful while discussing how much she enjoys parenthood.
‘I love being a mum. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us. It’s just so fulfilling,’ she explained.
‘I feel like I got a bit emotional saying that because honestly, I just love being a mum. It changed my life. She’s made me feel like I’m born again.’
Geordie Shore is streaming on Paramount Plus.
