Tyson Fury claimed he had a “huge row” with Chris Tarrant on a trip to Scotland, but he has since categorically denied this occurred.
Many surprising disclosures were made in the Netflix series At Home with the Furys, including Tommy Fury’s horror movie aspirations and Paris’ honest words about her relationship with Tyson. One of the most bizarre scenarios occurs when Tyson tries to schedule a romantic getaway.
Tyson, 35, remembered a previous trip to a fancy hotel in Perthshire when deciding on the site.
‘What’s the f**king big hotel called in Scotland?’ he asked before remembering it was Gleneagles.
‘I had a big row with Chris Tarrant last time I was there.’
Tyson chuckled at the memories rather than explaining why or when they’d exchanged cross words.
The former Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? host has finally spoken out, and it appears that memories differ.
‘It is complete nonsense! I’ve never even met him,’ he explained.
Chris, 76, did confess that he, Tyson, and Jane Bird were all at the same spot at the same time.
‘My wife and I got into a crowded lift with Tyson in it. We didn’t even speak and I got out at the next floor.’
He continued to the Daily Mail: ’There was no row, not a word was exchanged and we never saw him again! So I’ve still never met him.
‘He is one of the greatest boxers I’ve ever seen, why on earth would I have a row with him? This is rubbish.’
Paris, 33, was concerned about the airing of this moment for a very other reason.
Tyson had intended to take his father, John Fury, 59, to Pompeii for a last-minute vacation.
When Paris learned of her husband’s plans, she persuaded him to take her instead, resulting in Tyson falsely telling his father – who had already packed his luggage – that all flights had been cancelled.
When asked about that whole saga, Paris instantly recoiled at the memory, exclaiming: ‘I am so dreading that. I’m dreading this. I think I come out pretty bad.’
In the end, it turned out that there were no flights to Pompeii, which is how they decided on Scotland!
