Kaleb Cooper of Clarkson’s Farm has announced that he wants to construct a rotating door in his home.
The farming contractor, 25, has been working with former Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson, 63, on his Diddly Squat estate in Oxfordshire for several years, with their efforts filmed by cameras for the Amazon Prime series.
Although Kaleb was brought on board to teach Jeremy how to manage the land, he has acknowledged to picking up a few tips from his mentor.
Kaleb discovered and fell in love with spinning doors earlier this year during a trip they had together to the big smoke (London).
While there were lots of other tourist sites that could have piqued the farmer’s interest while he was in the capital, the innovation captivated him.
So much so that he has now stated that he would want to put one, or possibly many, in his own home in Chipping Norton.
‘People will probably say I must have seen a revolving door before, but I’d never seen one!’ he said about the viral video Jeremy posted that showed him totally enamoured by the door.
‘I’ve never interacted with all this stuff and it’s amazing. I need one in my house now.
‘The design keeps the heat inside and it’s amazing.’
Just a few years ago Kaleb was moving forward with his plans to work towards owning his own farm when he was thrust into the spotlight.
He’s been happy taking on the opportunities that have come since but is still planning on sticking to being a farmer full-time.
‘As long as I can highlight farming and put it on the map I feel it’s the best feeling ever. I want to be the best ambassador there is for farmers out there,’ he explained.
He’s also hoping his passion for the industry can inspire his two young children – son Oscar, two, and daughter Willa, four months as well.
‘I think every farmer out there would like their kids to go into the industry they love doing the most so of course I would love that,’ he said.

Having his own children has now provided Kaleb with the perfect reason to engage in what he refers to as “carpet farming” – coming home after a hard day and picking up farming toys and playing with them.
‘My little boy and even my little girl loves having a tractor in her hands. I mean farm toys are amazing and I still love playing with them now at 25! I didn’t need an excuse beforehand,’ he laughed.
Following the publication of his second book, Britain According to Kaleb: The Wonderful World of Country Life, he is now preparing to go on tour, which is a little nerve-racking for him because he has never ventured very far from his village.

However, after finding the wonder of rotating doors, he is eager to explore more of the world – and other stuff he has never seen before.
‘I think that is where the excitement is for when I go on tour. I just can’t wait to see new places and things. I want to learn something new every day,’ he added.
He continued: ‘I am so excited but at the same time I feel a bit nervous because I never really go far from home.
‘It’s going to be a big step, but I need to conquer my fears. I have a fear of balloons and I’ll never conquer that, but in terms of this it is exciting to see these places and meet amazing people. At the end of the day, if I can inspire a young farmer on this tour, that is all that matters.’
While Kaleb has yet to obtain his first passport, his starring position with Jeremy has earned him many fans from all around the world.

Although he has no immediate plans to travel abroad, he has stated that he might consider appearing on another reality show – I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! – if ever asked.
‘I went to Wales recently thinking it was [still being filmed] there but was told I was in the wrong place, and they are all out in Australia,’ he shared.
Despite his bewilderment, he’d be prepared to risk the long-haul travel and the more terrifying aspects of the event.
‘I would be fine with all of the creepy crawlies there,’ he declared.
