Daisy Jones and the Six’s trailer has been out, and there appears to be lots of drama as Sam Claflin and Riley Keough’s band makes it big.
Based on the best-selling 2019 novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, the TV adaptation follows a rock band in the 1970s ‘from their emergence in the LA music scene to becoming one of the most iconic bands in the world and investigates the cause behind their breakup at the height of their glory’.
Riley portrays the eponymous role, Sam plays her bandmate Billy Dunne, and Camila Morrone plays his wife Camila.
Suki Waterhouse portrays Karen Sirko, Nabiyah Be plays Simone Jackson, Will Harrison plays Graham Dunne, and Josh Whitehouse plays Eddie Roundtree.
The first full-length trailer has now been published, and it appears that the band is going to embark on a wild adventure as their fame soars.
It starts with the band in the studio, and while things look strained as they try to record what appears to be their manager’s description of a “decent, but not a fantastic song,” they go on.

As Daisy queries Billy about the significance behind the song he created, he gets his back up before explaining that it is about ‘beginning a new life and dreaming of something else’.
While Billy looks to be content with his wife, as they get to know each other, some sexual tension develops.
Their debut song then goes to number one, and things take off as they gain a lot of press attention and hit the road on a tour van to play shows all over the country.
But doubts about how close the two singers are becoming start developing when one of the band members informs Camila that producing an album may be a ‘intimate thing’ as she points out she’s never seen her husband ‘grin as much in his life’.
Their friendship then looks to be deteriorating as they begin bickering, and Daisy directly asks Billy whether there is something between them.
The performance description also teases that the band would dissolve following a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field.
Decades later, they eventually agree to’reveal the truth’ about what truly happened.
Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine production firm is behind the next series, which will contain 24 original songs.
Daisy Jones & The Six premieres on March 3 on Amazon Prime.
