Sunday nights are going to get a little more glittery as Dancing On Ice returns to ITV on January 15, 2023.
The new series will feature 11 brand new celebrities, some of whom will be famous faces, taking to the ice alongside their professional partners to demonstrate their skating talents in the hopes of becoming this year’s champion and surviving the dreaded skate-off.
Ekin-Su Cülcülolu, Joey Essex, Siva Kaneswaran from The Wanted, and Mollie Gallagher from Coronation Street are among those contending for the crown in a series that has already delivered the drama before anyone has ever gotten their skates on.
But who will be the winner of Dancing On Ice in 2022? Let us remind ourselves of the reigning champion…
Who won Dancing On Ice in 2022?
Regan Gascoigne and his skating partner Karina Manta won the 2022 season of Dancing On Ice.
Regan, a dancer and the son of former England player Paul Gascoigne, defeated ex-Strictly star Brendan Cole and Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberly Wyatt in the final to be proclaimed winner.
Each he and runner-up Brendan received perfect 40s for their final acts, culminating in both of them performing Torvill and Dean’s classic Bolero.
‘I am so overwhelmed, I never thought this was possible,’ Regan said in emotional scenes as he lifted the trophy.

The cast of the 2022 series included Sally Dynevor from Coronation Street, Bez from Happy Mondays, Liberty Poole from Love Island, Rachel Stevens from S Club 7, Olympian Kye White, TV presenter Ria Hebden, Conor Ball from The Vamps, Paralympian Stef Reid, and rugby star Ben Foden.
