Carley Stenson of Dancing On Ice has claimed that she and her husband Danny Mac have a healthy rivalry.
The Hollyoaks star is up against Towie’s Joey Essex, former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, and Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcülolu.
Carley and Mark will compete for the attention of Dancing On Ice broadcasters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, as well as judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo, and Oti Mabuse.
Danny reached the Strictly Come Dancing final in 2016, when he finished runner-up to Ore Oduba.
He even created series history by scoring a second straight flawless 40 with partner Oti.
Carley, 38, and Danny, 34, have been married for four years after getting married in 2017.
Both performers have previously appeared in Hollyoaks, with Carley playing Steph Cunningham from 2000 to 2011, and Danny as Mark ‘Dodger’ Savage from 2011 to 2015.

Behind the scenes, there’s some healthy competition between the two, since she’s currently competing in a dancing competition.
Chatting ahead of taking to the ice, Carley said: ‘He’s massively supportive. He’s like, “Come on Carl, this is your time now, don’t worry about me and Skye, I’ve got it covered.
‘He’s great like that, but then he also does add in, “I was runner-up though babe”.
‘So I have to beat him in that sense, but I just say to him, “Even if I just make the final, we’ll be equal!”‘
Danny and Carley have a daughter named Skye Bella, who was born in June 2021, and the couple announced the wonderful news on Father’s Day.
They both shared a touching video to their respective Instagram accounts, beginning from the moment Carley and Danny initially announced their baby scan and ending with a gorgeous shot of the newborn’s little hand clinging onto theirs.
The clip then transitioned to a black screen, which read: ‘“Skye Bella”, Welcome to the world! 14.06.21.’
‘And then there were 5,’ they both captioned their posts.
Elsewhere, Carley told Metro.co.uk that she’s banned from taking part in the dangerous headbangers, saying her mum said ‘I’m not allowed’.
‘No genuinely, we’ve said we’re going to try and find something that’s just as challenging and just as impressive, so that’s a lot of homework for Mark.’
Dancing on Ice continues on Sunday at 6:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
