Katie Holmes celebrated a Dawson’s Creek milestone by sharing a series of set images.
Katie starred in the teen drama for six seasons, from 1998 to 2003, as Joey Potter, the idealistic voice of reason among her group of friends.
Katie, who was still in high school when she got the part, became an overnight star and was soon on the covers of publications like Seventeen, TV Guide, and Rolling Stone.
James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, and Joshua Jackson also appeared in the episode.
Katie has now posted many flashback images of the group in honour of the show’s 25th anniversary.
‘Happy 25th. I loved growing up with everyone and experiencing some really beautiful times. Thank you to all of the fans of Dawson’s Creek,’ she wrote.

Initially posted by Mary-Margaret Humes, who played Dawson’s mother Gail, the photos included a group behind-the-scenes shot on set, one of her with Katie and another with the core cast.
Also marking the occasion, James, 45, shared an old character portrait and a heartfelt message about the show’s impact on him.
He started by writing: ‘25 years ago today… my life changed. Not gradually, not day-by-day… instantly.’
‘It was the culmination of 5 years of auditioning, hundreds of hours on stage, thousands of hours traveling, preparing, dreaming, hoping, hearing “no”, and making up reasons to keep going. But the shift was overnight.’
He went on to say that while stardom was not everything he had hoped for, he did experience “pinch himself” moments.
The actor went on to say that celebrity wasn’t everything he imagined it to be, that there were cool ‘pinch yourself’ moments, and that he was grateful to have met the individuals he did.
The series received 14 award nominations, the majority of which were Teen Choice Awards, and averaged six million viewers in its first season.
