A lady who has two symmetrical lumps underneath her eyes has revealed the emotional toll that comments from strangers have had on her.
Porscha is presently seeking assistance from Dr Pimple Popper as she feels like she’s ‘closing herself off’.
The TLC reality show features patients from across the United States seeking help from dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon Dr Sandra Lee for their ‘blemishes’. These can range from individuals dealing with ‘maggots’ in their toes to rashes that smell like ‘hot garbage’.
Dr Lee has also assisted patients with a ‘third breast’ placed behind an armpit and even a man with a staggering 400 tumors spread across his body.
In a preview clip for a forthcoming episode, Porscha starts off by saying: ‘These lumps are the primary things my clients focus on.
‘Even as I converse with them slowly, I observe their eyes moving downwards.
‘From my eyes, they commence staring at my lump, and then the conversation diverges into questions like, “Did you do this on purpose? Is this body modification?
‘And this puts me into silence.’
Porscha has been receiving an outpour of support from viewers, with one stating, ‘People fail to understand that it’s normal to look at them because they are different. That doesn’t necessarily indicate they’re observing them negatively.’
Another messaged: ‘She’s beautiful. Insecure individuals often concentrate on aspects in others that would make them feel better about themselves.’
‘She is stunning and in my opinion her lumps are adorable. But if she wants them gone she should do what makes her feel comfortable. Nothing wrong with it. Wishing her the best!’ another person commented.
This comes after a preview for Dr Pimple Popper showcased a man with a bump at the back of his head, which he compared to ‘cheese’ and even gave it a pet name, Larry.
He illustrates: ‘This is my lump Larry. It’s roughly the size of a lemon.
As he presses the bump at the back of his skull, he carries on: ‘The texture is almost like cheese.
‘Some parts are liquidy, like here it’s soft and here it’s hard.’
