A Drag Race UK competitor has dispelled claims of a’sexual’ relationship with Alan Carr.
Alexis Saint-Pete will perform on the new season of the hit reality series as 10 Queens compete for the title of Next Drag Superstar.
The aspirants will be hoping to impress Mama Ru, Michelle Visage, Graham Norton, and Alan, who Alexis has her sights set on.
In a teaser for the new series, Alexis revealed: ‘I’m so excited to see Alan Carr, I just have an obsession with Alan Carr.
‘You know when you have a favourite teddy bear from your childhood that you just want to always have around. That’s Alan Carr for me.’
When questioned if she has a ‘bit of a crush’ on the Chatty Man star, Alexis unconvincingly laughed it all off.
And she’s now cleared up exactly what she meant.

In a chat with Metro.co.uk, when asked who on the judging panel surprised her, the 29-year-old replied: ‘Alan Carr! I love Alan Carr!’
She went on: ‘People think I fancy Alan Carr – it’s none of that!’
Alexis explained: ‘When I came to the UK, when I first discovered Alan Carr’s interview with Britney Spears, I didn’t understand anything that he was saying, so I had to translate everything that he was saying, and so I’ve got that sentimental thing where I was learning the words and sticking to the words he was saying.’
She went on: ‘I didn’t understand all the words until I learnt it, I would replace them with another word, so I have this sentimental moment with Alan Carr.’
‘He makes me so happy every time I look at him,’ Alexis added.
She then confirmed: ‘There’s nothing sexual or nothing flirtatious between us, he just makes me really happy.’
The Polish diva, who travelled to London when she was 12 to pursue her ambition of becoming a ballet dancer, has described herself as a ‘clown in a supermodel body’ as she tells her Drag Race narrative.
Describing an Alexis show, in a BBC press release, Alexis promises ‘splits, kicks, turns, tricks… I’ve got it all.’
And we can’t wait to see it!
Drag Race UK airs tonight at 9pm on BBC Three.
