Warning: spoilers ahead for the episode 6 finale of Secret Invasion.
Secret Invasion concluded with an epic fight in the episode 6 conclusion, when G’iah (Emilia Clarke) fought out against fanatical Skrull commander Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir), as is typical of Marvel Cinematic Universe ventures.
After first impersonating Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), G’iah finally revealed to her former leader that she hadn’t died when he attempted to murder her, as well as revealing that she now possessed extremely powerful Super Skrull abilities after placing herself in his secret, experimental machine.
As she destroyed Gravik once and for all, she revealed a slew of new abilities, courtesy to the DNA of people like Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).
G’iah now has the capacity to employ powers from entities like as Mantis, Korg, Ghost, and the regeneration of Extremis from Iron Man 3 in addition to Captain Marvel’s talents, which she gained after coming into touch with an Infinity Stone… and that just scrapes the surface.
With this combination of abilities, on top of Carol, who was widely recognised as the most powerful Avenger, many fans feel G’iah is now the most powerful character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
As a result, the last episode of Secret Invasion and her character growth would be a significant point in the history of Marvel Studios films and TV programmes.
One gobsmacked fan reacted on Twitter by writing: ‘Out of nowhere Emilia Clarke’s character became the most powerful being in the entire MCU suddenly,’ before adding: ‘I am not complaining, it was very cool.’

Before the launch of Secret Invasion, Emilia, 36, remained tight-lipped about her role, who is the daughter of Fury’s close Skrull buddy, Talos (Ben Mendelsohn).
Emphasising the ‘resentment’ that G’iah felt towards Fury and her father, she told Vanity Fair: ‘There’s a lot of emotions that live within her, and there’s a lot of confrontational aspects to her character that have come from circumstance. You understand why she has the feelings that she does.’
