Set in a mystical land and following the lives of fairies as they battle evil, as well as dealing with all the usual teen drama, Fate: The Winx Saga was a huge hit on Netflix – and inspired lots of fan theories.
The first series followed Bloom (Abigail Cowen) a Californian who, on the discovery she possesses magical power and is a fire fairy, finds herself in the Otherworld where she enrolls at Alfea.
As she befriends her fellow classmates, who are all learning to harness their abilities, the school becomes threatened by monsters the Burned Ones, with dark secrets, including Bloom’s real origins, slowly unravelling.
While the first season reveals that Bloom was a Changeling, meaning she was switched at birth with a human family, there’s still many theories about where she actually comes from.
The shock death of beloved headteacher Farah Dowling (Eve Best), whose replacement is Rosalind (Lesley Sharp) during the final episode, also left fans questioning if she might still be alive.
However, these are not the wildest theories about the fantasy drama, which is adapted from a comic book of the same name, heard by Elisha Applebaum, who plays Musa, and Paulina Chávez, who joins the cast of the second season as Flora.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Paulina, 20, revealed the most bizarre discussion she’d come across surrounding Stella (Hannah van der Westhuysen) and Sky (Danny Griffin).

The actress said she had read somewhere that some viewers believed the pair, who are a former couple, are actually related.
Explaining the incestuous theory, Elisha said: ‘There was a shot of both of them in season one where they’re next to each other, they’ve got the same color hair, same color eyes, they’re both dressed up really proper for the party that we’re having. And everyone was like, “You just look related”.’

Bursting into laughter, Elisha added: ‘Yeah, that was interesting.’
However, the 27-year-old went on to disclose that she ‘doesn’t go on Reddit’ to read other theories because she gets a ‘bit too nervous to read it all’.
The second season of Fate: The Winx Saga finds the fairies in a very different place, under the militant authority of Rosalind, and with favourite teacher Silva (Robert James-Collier) imprisoned for treason.
While the Burned Ones may be gone, fairies start to go missing in the night with Bloom and her suitemates discovering a new dangerous threat lurking in the shadows.
Fate: The Winx Saga season two premieres on Netflix on Friday, September 16.
