Ria Hebden may be Lorraine’s entertainment specialist, but even she makes mistakes, as she demonstrated while hosting a special section on Coronation Street.
The 40-year-old was showing viewers what they could see if they booked a behind-the-scenes tour of the ITV serial.
She began pointing out various props after exclaiming that it is “the place to be” and that we may visit any day of the week.
She started with Eileen Bradshaw’s sofa, then moved on to a gallery wall of cast images until arriving at the grand finale: a gigantic painting of Jack and Vera Duckworth, played by the late Bill Tarmey and Elizabeth Dawn.
‘Look, that’s the iconic Bob and Vera, we simply adore it,’ she added, pointing to the framed artwork. Ria, not quite.
It then returned to the studio, where a gloomy Lorraine Kelly, 63, was watching and said, ‘Bob and Vera?!’ Jack.’
Ria continued to share her delight for the trip, unaware of her error, and went on to the Rovers Return.
Viewers caught up on the mistake as well.
