Officers allegedly halted Gino D’Acampo on his way home from shooting with Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirirex and discovered him in possession of cannabis.
Sniffer dogs are said to have circled the cook, 46, after he landed at Farnborough Airport in Hampshire on the Hell’s Kitchen star’s private aircraft.
The three had been shooting Gordon, Gino, and Fred: Road Trip in Spain, and the Kitchen Nightmares presenter, 56, and First Dates actor, 51, were said to be ‘pretty angry’ about the incident.
A tiny package of cannabis was allegedly discovered in the Family Fortunes presenter’s baggage after the dogs notified authorities.
D’Acampo is said to have been halted, warned, and fined for possessing a prohibited substance.
According to The Sun, officers agreed the drugs were for the Italian cook’s personal medical use and, while he was given a caution, he was not arrested.
According to a source, D’Acampo ‘at first attempted to shrug off’ the halt and search before telling Ramsay and Sirieix that the cannabis was for his ‘bad back.’
‘Neither Fred nor Gordon, nor anyone else on the plane, had even a hint of anything suspect,’ they continued.
It comes after D’Acampo revealed his departure from the ITV travel show due to scheduling issues.

Sirieix and Ramsay were allegedly ‘blindsided’ by the surprise departure and ‘frustrated’ that the’real reason’ the Italian chef left was to ‘have a lie in.’
Gordon, Gino, and Fred: Road Trip follows the three as they journey to Morocco, America, and Greece to soak in the culture and taste the local food.
A Farnborough Airport spokesperson commented: ‘Farnborough Airport takes a zero tolerance approach to any illegal activity relating to flights arriving into or departing from the Airport.
‘We work closely with UK Border Force, who are based on site at Farnborough Airport, to ensure we maintain the safety and welfare of all passengers, crew, visitors and staff at all times.’
Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip is available to stream on ITVX.
