Tom Malone Jr, who left Gogglebox over three years ago, has hinted at a return to the Channel 4 show.
The TikTok star quit in February 2021 after six years as an armchair reviewer and hasn’t looked back since.
Meanwhile, his brother Shaun and parents Tom and Julie, who have been on the show since 2014, remain very much a part of the Gogglebox family.
Fans of Malone will be pleased to discover that Tom has not ruled out a comeback to the popular reality programme.
But he said that he would only return provided he could continue with his other endeavours, including becoming a dancer.
Asked about the potential of re-joining the cast of Gogglebox, Tom told the Daily Express: ‘If I was able to do all of the stuff that I do now, then I’d be open to it.
‘But I think due to the nature of the stuff I’m doing, I don’t think it would be a possibility. If it was, I’d definitely be open to it.
Tom announced his departure from Gogglebox on X, sharing a picture of himself holding up a sign which read: ‘Back on the market. Get at me with any TV work.’
‘So after 6 and a half years it’s finally time to put down the remote and say goodbye to Gogglebox,’ he wrote.
‘I’ve loved every minute and I’m eternally grateful to Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for allowing me to be a part of the show. But new opportunities are knocking on the door and it’s time to explore them.

‘I look forward to enjoying the show as a viewer and not having to worry about saying something stupid. PS. Don’t worry my parents and brother will still be on the show to keep you entertained every Friday.’
His departure triggered a flood of well-wishes from his Gogglebox co-stars, including Ellie Warner, who said, ‘All the best Tom,’ with a heart emoji.
Tom has worked with Pro-Excel, a Manchester-based company that brings together young people from varied backgrounds to generate possibilities, since leaving Gogglebox.
Speaking about his involvement with the organisation, he said: ‘I was lucky to be from a two parent household where my mum would drive me to dance classes or boxing to make sure I could do the things I wanted to do, a lot of people from my background don’t have that.’
Gogglebox is available to stream on Channel 4.
