Stephen Webb, a Gogglebox superstar, has posted a video of his extraordinary exercise experience.
The 52-year-old Brighton-based TV celebrity announced his departure from Gogglebox after ten years of binge-watching the latest shows in front of millions.
A week later, he’s given followers a peak into his new chapter, looking totally shredded with abs in a video that shows Stephen before and after getting his pump on at the gym.
‘Back in the game!’ he wrote alongside the clip on Instagram.
‘With a little help from my friends @alex__boito @drjefffoster who I’ll be chatting with next week about men’s health! Watch out for the video.’
Naturally, his fans were blown away, with several ‘wow’ and ‘you done excellent’ praises pouring in.
Stephen and his husband Daniel Lustig-Webb announced their departure from Gogglebox before the new season premiered last Friday.
Stephen was a member of the original Gogglebox cast, appearing with his ex-boyfriend Christopher Steed.
‘After a brilliant and illustrious time on Gogglebox, Stephen and Daniel have decided that now is the right time to explore life beyond the sofa and leave the show,’ said show creators Studio Lambert and Channel 4.
‘As one of the original Goggleboxers, Stephen has entertained the nation with his hilarious quips since the show first started in 2013, sharing his opinions on the best and biggest TV events of the last 10 years.
‘We would like to thank him and Daniel for being utterly brilliant contributors to the show, and we wish them well with their future projects.’
Stephen and Daniel addressed their departure from the programme in identical statements posted on Instagram, which read: ‘After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox.
‘We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities.
‘We would both like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show.
‘We are also extremely thankful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family as we call them and of course the fans, thank you for all of your love & support over the years.’
Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4.
