Gogglebox star Ellie Warner has revealed the happy news that she’s expecting a baby in a shock on-air announcement.
Tonight on the Channel 4 programme, Ellie was joined on the show as usual with her sister Izzi Warner, where they spoke openly about her pregnancy news.
The reality star and hairdresser spoke about going for an ultrasound to check up on her baby, who she’s presumably expecting with her boyfriend Nat Eddleston.
Earlier this year, Nat was left fighting for his life after being hit by a car, after which he was placed in intensive care.
In May, he was seen out and about wearing a neck brace for support, having suffered a broken neck and two collapsed lungs in the collision.
On the programme, Ellie said: ‘So I went for a scan on Saturday,’ remarking to her sister Izzi that she thought the baby looked like a ‘jelly alien’.
‘When I showed mum the picture, she went, “Oh, can I take a picture?”‘ Ellie recalled. ‘You didn’t even look at it for two minutes.’
‘I did!’ Izzi retorted, before adding: ‘I’ll stare at it a bit longer just to make you happy.
Gogglebox fans rushed to congratulate Ellie on her happy news, with one tweeting: ‘Hang on a minute is @ellieandizzi Ellie pregnant #Gogglebox Well congrats to you and Nat xx.’
‘ELLIE’S HAVING A BABY?!’ someone else exclaimed, alongside cry-smiling emojis.
Gogglebox is available to watch on All 4 and returns next Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
