Stephen Webb, a Gogglebox celebrity, claims he was the victim of a homophobic attack in Brighton while out with his spouse.
Stephen, 52, originally appeared on Gogglebox in its debut series in 2013 and now appears frequently with spouse Daniel Lustig.
He was out with his husband in Brighton when they were called a homophobic slur.
He posted a photo of the Pride flag on Instagram following the horrible tragedy.
He accompanied the image with: ‘Last night Daniel and I were called “f**king f****ts” this was on Hove sea front!
‘The fight continues! Be aware be safe! #gay #pride #homophobiastillexists.’
The post was showered in love and support, with one person writing: ‘It’s pathetic that so many people are obsessed with others’ relationships. They must be utterly miserable in their own lives. Ignore them and be proud.’

Another said: ‘What the actual F ! Unreal, uneducated and unacceptable you guys are amazing.’
‘They picked the wrong town. Come to think of it the wrong decade. Sorry you had to deal with someone else’s major character flaws x,’ another wrote.
Stephen has already used social media to respond to homophobic bullies.
In May 2020, he posted a screenshot of the statement directed towards his sexuality with his followers.

It is unclear what the comment was referring too but it read: ‘He is everything I detest about flamboyant gays’.
The hairdresser replied: ‘What a revolting homophobic comment! Please feel free to unfollow me you nasty woman.’
On social media, Gogglebox followers came to Stephen’s rescue, with one saying, ‘I’m very sorry that someone would talk to you in that nasty manner.
‘NO ONE should be abused in that way. Just shows a mindless and spiteful nature. Lots of love to you x please carry on just being you!’
Gogglebox is available to watch on All4.
