On This Morning, Gok Wan gave a mysterious reaction when asked if he missed Eamonn Holmes.
In 2014, she became the style reporter for the ITV daytime show, which is now anchored by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford headlined the show on Fridays at the time, which is currently hosted by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
While the show’s hosts have changed throughout the years, with Eamonn and Ruth departing in 2020, Gok suggested that he missed the now-GB News host.
When asked if he missed Eamonn on the show, he said, ‘Well, I adore the whole [This Morning] family.’
He repeated to The Sun: ‘I love all the family.’
Eamonn, 63, has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with his tenure on This Morning, stating he was not treated with’respect’.
He’s also admitted to not knowing why he was fired from the programme, stating in June last year, ‘I wish somebody would show me the email or the letter or that I was sent to say, “Eamonn, this is why this is coming to an end.”’
He also stated that he no longer watches This Morning because it is ‘too… sensitive’ for him.
Earlier last year, the journalist accused ITV of being ‘sly’, and said to The Guardian: ‘It was obvious I didn’t tick the boxes for ITV any more and I wasn’t being treated with respect there.’
‘It was a self-esteem thing. You think “nah I’m out of here, bye!” So that was it. And nothing’s changed: I play what I do straight,’ he added.
Eamonn formerly hosted GMTV and has also worked in radio, including appearances on stations such as Radio 5 Live, Magic, BBC Radio 2, and talkRadio.
Since January 2022, he has hosted Breakfast on GB News alongside Isabel Webster.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
