Nikita Kuzmin’s ideal Strictly Come Dancing celebrity partners are Beyonce, Shakira, and …..Graham Norton.
The first two options are very straightforward and, admittedly, unlikely to materialise anytime soon, but…
The idea of the 60-year-old broadcasting great cleaning his shoes for a Samba and a Foxtrot with the 25-year-old professional dancer, on the other hand, is epic.
‘I feel like he would take the lead honestly,’ Nikita said of the potential on tonight’s broadcast of The One Show with Alex Scott and Alex Jones.
Joined on the sofa with colleagues Strictly Come Dancing professional dancers Gorka Márquez, 32, and Jowita Przystał, 28, when asked who would be his dream celebrity coupling, Nikita answered: ‘Beyonce, Shakira, and Graham Norton’.
The last name surprised anchor Alex Jones, who gasped and repeated, ‘Graham Norton?!’

What an idea, what a dream.
Fans agreed, with one writing, ‘Graham Norton on Strictly! “Yes, please!”
Although the talk show host has never stated if he would compete on the popular dance competition, he was previously chastised for making a ‘throwaway’ statement on how the programme including same-sex couples could’muddy the waters’ of the competition.
Graham, who is gay, told Best magazine at the time: ‘As you have people who can be openly gay on that show, I don’t particularly need to see a man dancing with a man.
‘I understand the reason the Strictly bosses might do it is coming from a good place, but it does kind of muddy the waters for the judges.

‘If you’ve got two partners who can do lifts and men’s bodies are different shapes, how would that work?’
The BBC star added: ‘You want to be able to compare like with like.’
However, when Nicola Adams went on to become one half of the show’s first same-sex coupling in 2020, Graham turned to social media to repudiate his past remarks.
In a Tweet alongside a BBC article documenting the news and including his previous statements, he wrote: ‘Oh God. This is entirely my own fault. Ages ago I gave a throwaway comment to a journalist who wanted me to slag off Strictly.
‘Clever clogs remembered and now look!! So sorry. Big up @NicolaAdamsOBE and her partner!!’
Meanwhile, Jowita’s fantasy dancing partner was her ‘childhood infatuation’ 62-year-old Notting Hill star Hugh Grant, while Gorka’s was his self-proclaimed ‘mature obsession’ David Beckham, 47.
The Four Weddings and a Funeral actor is most known for his funny dad dance in Love Actually, and he has previously said that his’secret ambition’ is to compete on Strictly.
‘I’ve always wanted to be on the dancing one myself. That’s my secret fantasy. That’s out of the bag,’ Hugh said in an interview on ITV1’s The Agenda in 2012.
Watch this space for ex-footballer David, who was recently videoed cutting some rather remarkable ballroom figures with Victoria Beckham.
‘Honestly, look at him, you can tell he lives in Spain, look at him,’ said Gorka while watching the footage.
The One Show is on BBC1 every weekday at 7pm.
