Chloe Burrows burst into tears when explaining her split with Toby Aromolaran.
The former Love Island stars met on the reality show in 2021 but announced their split in October of last year.
Chloe, 27, will now feature on the newest season of Celebs Go Dating with former Islander Adam Collard, TV presenter Vanessa Feltz, Mark-Francis Vandelli from Made in Chelsea, model Lottie Moss, and comedian and online sensation Spuddz.
On the current episode of the show, Chloe became tearful when the dating agents asked her about her break-up with Toby, 24.
After calling her ex the “nicest boy I’ve ever met,” she said that it was difficult to “replicate the bonds” she had on Love Island in real life.
She went on to say that once their relationship ended, she was “heartbroken for months.”
Chloe began to cry and brushed away her tears before claiming she didn’t want to get emotional talking about her previous relationship.
‘Things fell apart a bit and we both knew,’ she explained.
‘He went away, and we hadn’t seen each other for a month.
‘I won’t beg for someone to stay with me. When I am done with someone, I cut them off but then I speak about them and get upset.’
She added: ‘At the time I didn’t want it to end, and I wasn’t ready, but it’s made me a nightmare to deal with boys.’
When asked if she would ever want to get back together with Toby, Chloe hesitated before sharing she thought they were ‘different people now’.
Chloe revealed earlier this week how she contacted her ex to let him know about her involvement on the dating show.
‘I know he said in an article recently that we don’t speak but, we’re not on bad terms,’ she explained.
She added to The Mirror: ‘Out of respect, I did tell him and he was like, “Do it.” I don’t know if he was jumping for joy but, he knew.’
While the couple initially clicked when they met on Love Island, Chloe previously stated that her father was not thrilled when they got frisky in front of the cameras.
‘My dad almost killed me for going on Love Island. I don’t know if I could do OnlyFans,’ she said when asked if she would ever sign up for the adult subscription site.
‘My dad didn’t speak to me for months. In fact, we’ve still not spoken. I had sex on TV,’ she added when appearing on The Fellas Podcast.
