In a charming new photo, Holly Willoughby placed a kiss on her husband of 16 years, Dan Baldwin.
The This Morning host, 42, is famously discreet about her personal life, but she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to celebrate producer Dan’s birthday with a PDA-filled Instagram post.
Holly’s flashback photo appears to have been taken during the Lucca festival in Italy, with the mainstage visible in the background.
She captioned her post: ‘Happy birthday to my love,’ and it didn’t take long for Holly’s famous pals to share their well wishes.
John Terry wrote: ‘Happy birthday Dan,’ beneath TV star Holly’s post, while Will Mellor added, ‘Happy birthday Dan!’
Holly and Dan met in 2004 on the children’s television show Ministry Of Mayhem, which Holly co-hosted with Stephen Mulhern, and were dating for three years before they married.
They were close friends for six months before dating, and they kept their romance a secret for eight months.
They married on August 4, 2007, in Sussex, and have three children: Harry, 13, Belle, 11, and Chester, 7.
Holly’s kind tweet comes after she openly expressed her grief at the passing of a family member.
Holly’s sister, Kelly Willoughby, posted a heartfelt tribute to her uncle Ray on Instagram last week.
Kelly thanked Ray for ‘all the love and laughs’ beside a photo of him.
Holly added a devastated emoji beneath her sibling’s post.
‘Sleep deep Uncle Ray,’ wrote her elder sister Kelly, 43. We are sorry to have to say go so soon. Thank you for all of your love and laughter.
‘The kids will forever remember you turning up, taking your hat off and watching with glee as packets of Haribo dropped to the floor. We will miss you so much.’
Kelly also shared a photo of Ray in a suit, smiling.
Condolences poured in beneath Kelly’s post, with one user writing, ‘Sending tonnes of love Kelly,’ and another saying, ‘So sorry for your family loss.’
Holly and her identical sibling are extremely close and have even worked professionally together in the past, with Kelly serving as the managing director of Holly’s health firm Wylde Moon.
