
Love Island 2022 has come to an end and it’s time to wave goodbye to the villa for another summer.
Fan favourite couple Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti walked away with the £50,000, with Luca Bish and Gemma Owen being named runners-up.
Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page came in fourth place, while Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope just missed the top two spots in third place.
If you loved this year’s show and fancy landing yourself a spot in the infamous villa, you’re in luck as applications are open for 2023.

How to apply for Love Island 2023
Applications for the next series are open and those wishing to apply should complete the registration form on the ITV website.
The website says: ‘ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the sun, in search of love!
‘The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.
‘If you think you’ve got what it takes, then we want to hear from you straight away.’
Firstly, the application will ask you to submit some details about yourself, including:
- Your full name
- Age
- Address
- Email address
After this, you need to submit:
- A full-length photo of yourself
- Three optional extra photos
- Your occupation
- Contact number
- Social media handles
Lastly, you will need to send a landscape video of yourself saying why you would like to be on Love Island and what makes you suitable for the show.

Although the chances are some slots are already filled – the producers are known to pluck contestants from social media beforehand – you can register your interest for a spot on the show.
A closing date has not yet been announced for applications.
After you’ve submitted your application, if producers are interested in you you may be invited to the next stage of audition.
Dates for the audition and casting period have also not yet been announced.

Don’t start packing your suitcases just yet – there are a few requirements you need to meet before you apply, including:
Before you get your hopes up, make sure you pass the eligibility steps required to start completing your entry form.

To apply:
- You must be aged at least 18 years old at the date of your application
- You must not be:
- currently employed by ITV
- a live-in partner or immediate relative of someone who works on Love Island
- You must hold, or be prepared to obtain, a viable passport (one which is less than 10 years old and valid until at least 6 months after the programmes end date)
- You must be exclusively available to participate in Love Island for a minimum of ten consecutive weeks
