I’m devastated. You’re devastated. We’re all devastated. Eurovision tickets went on sale, and unfortunately, we were unable to obtain them.
Tickets sold out completely in an astonishing 40 minutes as demand skyrocketed, with some aspirants experiencing technological difficulties.
This year’s final will be held in Liverpool on May 13, with the UK and Ukraine sharing the presenting and hosting responsibilities.
Ukraine was proclaimed champion last year, but owing to Russia’s continuing invasion of the nation, the UK was invited to host in their place.
Even if tickets for the Grand Final are sold out, there is still hope for you owing to a prize draw scheduled for Red Nose Day.
The week-long tournament, fittingly titled Liverpool Calling, will give away two tickets to the sold-out Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final.
The draw was revealed on Zoe Ball‘s Radio 2 Morning Show on Monday, and it will end on Friday, March 17.
If you are chosen as the winner, you will receive transportation to Liverpool, a one-night stay in a luxury hotel, and, of course, the greatest tickets in Europe at the Echo Arena.
In addition to entry to the Grand Final, the winner will be treated to an exciting meet-and-greet with BBC favourites Rylan and Scott Mills.
Some 3,000 tickets will be made available to Ukrainian refugees residing in the United Kingdom who fled their native country when it was invaded by Russian soldiers last year.
If you wish to enter the draw, you can find all of the necessary information on the Comic Relief website. All participants must be at least 18 years old.
The proceeds from the raffle will be used to assist individuals affected by the cost-of-living issue, homelessness, mental illness, and food insecurity.
Mae Muller, the UK’s Eurovision contender, stated that she ‘blacked out’ after learning that her song I Wrote a Song would be the UK hopeful.
Meanwhile, Loreen, who won the competition with her song Euphoria in 2012, is ready to represent Sweden for the second time.
