I’m a Star… South African fans were displeased with Ant and Dec on Thursday evening as they watched Myleene Klass and Andy Whyment compete for a spot in the main camp.
On the fourth night in the jungle, the TV presenter, 45, and the soap star, 42, were chosen to participate in a bushtucker competition for the chance to join the rest of the celebrity campmates.
They were asked a series of South African-related questions, and each correct answer earned them a point.
If the celebrity did not give Ant and Dec the answer they want, their heads were fastened inside transparent plastic bowls filled with a variety of critters.
However, viewers immediately noticed an imbalance in the difficulty level of the questions and claimed Myleene was having an easier time than Andy.
One penned on Twitter: ‘This is a set up… poor Andy,’ while another noted: ‘Myleene’s answer was wrong the answer was femur not fumer. She should not have got that second point. Plus Andy’s questions were a lot harder than hers [sic].’
‘Is someone hooked up to a mic to give Myleene all of these answers she doesn’t know,’ a fan questioned and a different account claimed: ‘Nah this trial is rigged [sic].’
An audience member further said: ‘This is so fixed for Myleene to go to main camp [sic].’
Away from the other celebrities, TV personality Gillian McKeith revealed to one contestant on Thursday night’s show that she had smuggled some contraband into camp.

However, the show’s hosts suspected the 63-year-old was not alone.
Georgia Toffolo read from a Bush Bulletin on the pre-recorded show: ‘Celebrities, there is contraband in camp.
‘You will not get your dinner until you’ve surrendered all contraband. There’s an amnesty bowl in the Telegraph.’
Instead of crowning a king or queen of the jungle, competitors vie for the title of I’m A Celebrity… Legend as they endure a series of trials.
I’m A Celebrity… South Africa airs on Thursday on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm.
