The start date of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here has reportedly been revealed – and it’s only a couple of weeks away.
The new series, which will return to Australia for the first time since 2019, is apparently set to start on Sunday, November 6.
That would mean the launch of the new series is just two weeks away.
The new series of the ITV show has been pushed forward due to the Qatar World Cup, which will start on November 20, The Sun reports.
An ITV spokesperson told the outlet: ‘We’ll announce the start date for the new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in due course.’
Ant and Dec will, of course, return to to present the series and, while contestants haven’t yet been announced, rumours are running wild.
Stars that are speculated to appear in the new series include Mike Tindall, Boy George, Love Island’s Olivia Attwood, Lionesses star Jill Scott, Strictly star and comedian Seann Walsh, Celebrity Gogglebox’s Babatunde Aleshe, and broadcaster Charlene White.
Meanwhile, hype for the new series is amping up after the release of a new trailer.
The video builds on from the teaser trailer shared by Ant and Dec, which sees Dec grow concerned as Ant flings luggage out of a helicopter en route to Australia.
When Dec is informed by a nonplussed Ant the luggage is ‘meeting us there’, he looks perplexed, as his pal shoves a load of sky-diving gear towards his way.
Hilariously stumbling over the phonetic alphabet over a walkie-talkie, as he prepares to jump from the aircraft, Ant lets Dec know in no uncertain terms that he’s going to have to follow him.
Ant then thrusts a wad of contracts at Dec while dangling out of the door and tells him gleefully: ‘Remember, wherever I go, you have to go!’
As Dec looks at the ‘Always Together Contract’, he laments: ‘I wish I’d never signed that thing’ before also plunging from helicopter.
On their rather terrifying route down to the jungle, Dec’s fears are not helped by a cooler containing a rather unpleasant part of a Kangaroo’s anatomy, while Ant manages to grab an Akubra hat.
Shouting ‘Holy shoot’, the pair release their parachutes with one branded ‘We’re’, while the other says ‘back’ as they descend to Australia.
We’re so ready!
I’m A Celebrity will reportedly return to ITV on November 6.
