Three celebrities were left squirming on Thursday’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Bushtucker trial as they fought to provide food for their campmates.
Scarlette Douglas, Owen Warner and Babatúndé Aléshé were the unfortunate souls picked out of the Tombol earlier in the episode, which meant it was up to them to face their fears and try and collect enough stars to feed the camp a proper meal.
The pressure was seriously on, following two nights in a row of less-than-impressive Bushtucker trial attempts.
(Including Chris Moyles getting just a single star as he panicked in an underground enclosed space on Wednesday’s trial, for which he branded himself ‘pathetic.’)
Thankfully for the celebrities, Thursday’s trial went much better, with the trio managing to get every single available star, despite Baba’s intense fear leading him to scream all the way through.
Scarlette, Babatúndé and Owen had come out on top after facing the Jungle On Sea challenge, which saw them having to stick their heads inside a box full of snakes, rats and frogs while passing stars to each other.
Teamwork really was the thing that made the dream work in this case, as Scarlette continuously encouraged Babatúndé – who spent the entire trial screaming with his mouth closed as frogs jumped all over him.
Literally – non stop screaming. With his mouth closed. Impressive, really.
It almost came to a messy end, as a bikini got caught in the seaside-themed contraption, but Baba was able to tear it off and clinch a total of eight stars between them.
The trial proved a source of hilarity on social media, with many pointing squarely at Baba’s horrified reaction to the frogs – while Scarlette and Owen faced rats and snakes.
Later, the trio returned to camp making light of the dismal Bushtucker trial performances earlier in the week, telling campmates ‘we got one star each … for everyone!’
Earlier in the episode, Jill Scott, Mike Tindall, and Owen had faced a carnival-themed trial, The Scareground, which saw Owen strapped to a stretcher on a rotating wheel, hanging over a pool of water.
It just wasn’t his day.
Meanwhile, Matt Hancock, Jill and Sue Cleaver had a taste of the high life as they swapped the I’m A Celebrity campsite for an indulgent beach barbeque.
