After leaving I’m A Celebrity, Jamie Lynn Spears is believed to be returning for a reunion with Grace Dent and the rest of the campmates.
Grace, 50, departed MasterChef after only a few days due to “medical reasons,” confessing she was “heartbroken.”
She was quickly followed out by Britney Spears‘ younger sister, 32, who resigned for the same reasons and subsequently suggested that she would disclose ‘everything about my experience’.
And it appears she’s keeping her word, with a source reporting the couple will join all of the evicted campmates, including finals Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage, as well as King of the Jungle Sam Thompson.
‘Jamie and Grace will be communicating for the first time since they left life in the bush,’ a source claimed.
‘Viewers will finally get to hear first-hand the highs and lows experienced by both of the stars, who are yet to open about the reasons behind their shock departures.’
The source continued to MailOnline: ‘Grace goes into detail about the struggles she faced while Jamie hints that the love and admiration she has for her campmates will see her travel to the UK for a reunion.’
This follows viewers’ confusion over Jamie Lynn’s departure, as she appeared on another reality show just days later.
Despite suddenly quitting I’m A Celebrity, Jamie Lynn was back on our screens soon after, when she returned to the Dancing With The Stars finals in the US (after being ousted from the programme weeks earlier).
On social media, she stressed she ‘took the first flight as soon as I was medically cleared’, but conspiracy rumours over her decision began swirling online.
After quitting the show, Jamie Lynn wrote: ‘I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once in a lifetime experience, but I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.’
Jamie added that she will be’recovering and spending time with my family,’ while her sister Britney Spears was allegedly ‘disappointed’ by the decision.
In multiple interactions in camp, Jamie Lynn hinted that she was ready to leave the jungle, and she defended herself to Sam against allegations that she was “the girl who cried wolf.”
She said on the show: ‘I think everybody had a rough day today, but I’m not crying wolf, I mean it very much.
‘I mean it, every time I want to leave, I have bad days, not everyday is sunshine and roses.’
Meanwhile, Grace admitted she didn’t leave the programme ‘as planned’, saying that she was ‘overwhelmingly sad’ about the decision ‘but determined to keep alive in my heart the huge personal breakthroughs I made over the weeks.
‘I spent 15 days without a phone or any contact with loved ones, living much of the time outdoors in a rain forest in very wet weather. It gave me a short, sharp glimpse into the pain some folk worldwide endure. Normal life, forever, will always feel beautiful.
‘Until now, I had no idea I could find a mental space where I could calmly climb down the side of a sky scraper and then slide out on a pole, unlocking stars, as the cars below on the street felt the size of ants.’
The restaurant critic went on to say that before her time taking part in Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s bushtucker trials, she ‘had no idea it was possible to be shown an American football helmet and be informed I was shortly to be locked in at the neck and filled to the eyebrows with cockroaches, and for me to think “OK this is doable, the trick is to breathe”‘.
Grace added that for ‘as long as I live’, she won’t ever forget ‘the cockroach that entered my ear canal and the sound of its little feet creeping closer down to my brain.’
‘It took us two goes to lure him out. Sat on the grass behind the ‘Scarena’ he finally washed up,’ she said.
‘The jungle showed me that I am physically stronger than I thought; I can carry a lot of logs and water up hill, build fire and eat hare innards at dawn for breakfast.’
Concluding her message, Grace wrote: ‘I hope I gave you all a smile. I didn’t go out as I planned or I wanted, but I did what I could, and I did it in a siren red gel manicure without chipping a nail. I didn’t cry when I took off my bra to find a family of mealworms living in the right cup. At some level, this must be an achievement.
‘My plan is to recover…and when the adrenaline finally ebbs away, to make some serious plans for dinner. Three courses, extra potatoes, definitely pudding. I think I deserve it. I love you all and miss my jungle crew. Miss Grace Dent xxx.’
I’m A Celebrity… Coming Out airs on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
