I’m A Celebrity viewers were outraged after Josie Gibson and Danielle Harold made fun of former campmate Fred Sirieix.
Tensions arose in the jungle between This Morning presenter Josie, 38, and First Dates actor Fred, 51, over food and cleanliness before he became the third celebrity removed.
On Tuesday, the Frenchman’s last Bushtucker Trial was a similarly controversial topic for the former Big Brother star, who made fun of Fred when he failed to collect all nine stars for the camp.
After EastEnders actor Danielle, 31, informed Josie that Fred was ‘p***ed off’ over outcome of the challenge, Josie proceeded to put on a baby voice, rub her eyes and exclaim: ‘Cry cry.’
Imitating Fred’s voice, Josie continued: ‘Cry cry. I’m not the camp chef. Cry cry. I must do the pots.’
The impression tickled Danielle, who was giggling throughout, before Josie admitted: ‘God I’ve turned really immature now. I think he’s been hanging around with Gordon Ramsay too much though.’
ITV viewers, on the other hand, were not charmed with Josie’s attitude, with numerous X, formerly known as Twitter, users slamming the two for being rude.
One fumed: ‘Fred needed reassurance that he had done his best and it was enough but Josie and Danielle just took the Mick. Turns my stomach tbh. #Ewww #ImACelebrity #ImaCeleb.
‘Bruh I can’t route for Danielle and Josie when they’re say making fun of Fred like that. Like grow up, you can dislike someone without acting like a bully about it. #ImACelebrity,’ another raged.
Taking a more balanced stance, a third shared: ‘I’m stuck between seeing why Fred has annoyed people but feeling like there is an alienation going on which makes it impossible to hate him along with everyone else. Josie and Danielle are making themselves really unlikable in their retaliations!’

Ant & Dec (the production team at least) need to be calling out the celebs & their bullying behaviour. Fred openly belittling Sam, & Josie & Danielle mocking Fred behind his back. All of it is the kind of behaviour you'd expect from kids & it's horrible #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity

After being sent out of the jungle, Fred was interrogated by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly about his kitchen drama with Josie, during which he appeared to make another dig at her culinary talents.
‘She doesn’t know what she’s doing in the kitchen. She’s just making it up as she goes along. So I think there’s a lot at stake with the food,’ he quipped.
‘And it’s not just what you’re cooking at the moment which of course is going to be good, because the produce is incredible, it is what you can do the next day with the leftovers or the bones and are you able to recycle everything.
He continued: ‘You really need the calories, and the calories, you’ve got to find them whenever you can. So I think we missed out on quite a few good meals.’
Throughout his tenure on the programme, Fred argued with numerous of his castmates, beginning with Nella Rose when he said he was old enough to be her father, which infuriated her.
Since then, he’s sparred with Nigel Farage, chastised Josie for her culinary skills, and then targeted Sam for just putting his hand up for a trial.
In his exit interview, he again took aim at the former Ukip leader, saying: ‘There is a side of Nigel Farage I can’t connect with and never will.’
