Carol Vorderman has admitted that she had a passionate fling when she was 19, as she returns to the scene of the crime.
The 62-year-old is back on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! co-stars Paul Burrell and Amir Khan in an All-Stars special.
Carol recalls her first appearance on Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s reality show in 2016 affecting her “a lot.”
She said: ‘It made me realise that I was missing many things I loved and within a short space of time after leaving the camp, I bought a little house in West Wales.
‘I love Wales and I love being out at night. I’ve got a converted van and I live a bit of a hippie life! I go paddle boarding all the time now.
‘You get to a point in life where you think everything is all a bonus. You can’t say “I will do that in 20 years’ time”.

‘It made me realise that you need to live in the now.’
She went on to talk about a previous trip to South Africa, where she met the ‘first love of [her] life’.
The former Countdown host revealed: ‘I went to South Africa when I was 19.
‘I met the first love of my life when I was working on an engineering construction site.
‘My boss was 24 and we fell in love. His next job was in Botswana and I flew over. There were giraffes running around and I swam with Great White Sharks.

‘I’ve not been on a safari for 40 years and I can’t wait now to do the Trials.’
Carol described some weird incidents that occurred before she participated in any bushtucker challenges ahead of the premiere of I’m A Celebrity.
‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa starts a week today,’ she enthused on TikTok.
She continued: ‘The monkey attacks, the hippos, the exercising, the bikini trials, everything. You and me together, stay with me.’
‘I’m taking you along with me to see how I spent my week before leaving to camp last September,’ the renowned TV personality captioned the image.
‘I’m going to show you my journey to South Africa and how I spent my week in isolation which included a monkey attack, hippo mating calls, lots of exercise and beautiful sunsets.’
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! All Stars airs Monday April 24 at 9pm on ITV.
