Tonight was Nigel Farage and Nella Rose’s first true bush tucker trial, and it wasn’t a joyous moment for Nella.
The former UKIP leader, 59, and YouTube sensation, 26, dined out tonight in a jungle ‘pizzeria’ in sights that divided viewers at home.
Farage and Nella were chosen by the audience to compete in the Jungle Pizzeria challenge, in which they had to consume pizzas with unappealing toppings typical of I’m A Celeb.
Rose struggled to take it all in, recoiling in terror and yelling at Farage as he ate a camel udder pizza – then screamed and giggling at her bug-covered pizza.
The celebrity dutifully stuffed the scorpion pizza into her mouth and ate it, but she continued screaming in between bits.
While those at home were laughing at her extreme emotions, others were not, with others going to Twitter, alias X, to announce they had to’mute the sound on this challenge.’
‘Nella is already testing my last nerve, another complained, while one labelled her simply ‘annoying’.
However she had plenty of fans, with one calling her ‘brilliant’ and that ‘she cracks me up.’
‘Nella is a comedian,’ another agreed, with one saying she was ‘crying Nella is so funny’ – at the same time another viewer declared she was ‘completely ruining this season’ of I’m A Celeb.
‘Oh Farage! Farage!’ she screamed as she saw Farage sink into his lunch. As he joked with Ant and Dec about whether they prepared the pizza, she covered her mouth and attempted to look away.
The GB News presenter queried the long-running presenting team, ‘‘Did you prepare this yourself, guys?’ before tucking in and grimacing.
After a few nibbles, the controversial politician observed that the pizzas are ‘a bit blooming rough’ before devouring the remainder of the slice.
It’s not the first time Rose has been embroiled in a trial with Farage, with the two of them thrown into the outback in the show’s 23rd season opener.
Former radio DJ Tony Blackburn, the inaugural winner of I’m A Celebrity, stirred fury on Sunday night when he confessed he was warming to Farage.

‘I loved Nick Pickard and Sam Thompson, Nigel Farage came over very well, [but] I found Nella Rose rather loud and over the top,’ he added, annoying his followers.
Farage has faced considerable criticism over the years, and he is usually attributed with motivating the outcome of the 2016 EU vote.
His participation on the programme, which he reportedly received for £1.5 million to compete in the jungle, has coincided with a drop in the show’s TV ratings.
ITV stated earlier on Monday that 7.8 million people watched the first episode of the 23rd series, a 1.3 million decrease from last year’s spectacular debut.
Watch I’m A Celebrity on ITV at 9pm on weekday nights.
