On Love Island, Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan fell in love, and now they’ve reached a big relationship milestone.
The two people are so in love that they want to live together. They lived together right after they met on the winter version of the ITV dating show, so they had a lot of practise.
But this time, they don’t have to worry about being kicked out or living with 10 other people. Well, landlords these days can be just as harsh as the people who make reality TV shows.
Not only did they make that announcement, but Kai, 24, and Sanam, 25, also started a shared YouTube page so that fans who haven’t seen enough of their love story can now catch up.
“The Kai and Sanam Show” is a good name for it. Why make things too hard?
Sanam said in their first video that they had been planning to move in together for a while because it was hard to be apart. Kai lived in Manchester, while Sanam lived in Bedford.
‘We came out of the villa in March, and after four weeks, maybe less than that we decided that we wanted to live together.’
They had been living with their moms until two weeks ago, when they finally got the keys. You’ve got to love mums!
The couple, who were both wearing uniform jackets that matched, were excited to show people around their simple home.
The tour started in the bedroom, which had a simple grey bed with end tables and lamps that matched.
If they ever wake up and forget what they look like, they can just turn around and look at the pictures on the wall.
Kai said it was his “best place,” and Sanam said, “We love it so much.”
The couple was refreshingly honest about their finances and said that they didn’t have a lot of money to decorate their first home.
They saved money by shopping at thrift stores and reusing old things.
Then, they took the camera to the living room and kitchen, which had an open layout and led out to a deck.
Kai’s mom gave him the outdoor furniture as a gift. Again, moms are great.
‘It may only be little, but it’s our first home together. It’s a massive step. I’ve never lived with a girl before. She’s never lived with a lad before so it’s massive for us, said Kai as the tour concluded.
With their new house, they have a nice place to watch Love Island together.
Sanam has been honest about what she thinks about the show.
After watching the most recent episode she wrote on Threads: ‘Can’t lie, I’m not 100% convinced about some couples in there…’ Don’t hold back, girl!
