Joe Goldberg has been on a murderous rampage for four seasons, and viewers are eager to find out if the newest season of You will be the final one.
In the newest installment, Joe (Penn Badgley) escaped to the UK to start a new life in London, where he’s been rubbing shoulders with the wealthy and becoming a regular at the capital’s exclusive private member’s bars.
The first five episodes, which aired on February 9, focused on the avid book lover, who was the one being pursued.
We now know, however, that Rhys Montrose (Ed Speleers) was the one torturing Joe from the beginning.
We won’t have to wait long to find out what the fourth chapter has in store for Joe, but is this the end of the serial killer?
Is You season 4 the final series?
While Netflix has not confirmed that season four will be the series’ last season, we can safely assume that Joe will return in season five.
Before the release of the latest installment, executive producer Sera Gamble told The Hollywood Reporter that there may be a lot more in store for Joe.
‘I am not scared at all of saying that we definitely could follow Joe for several more seasons,’ she said.
Joe was introduced to a number of intriguing newcomers. Adam is played by Lukas Gage, Nadia is played by Amy-Leigh Hickman, and Lady Phoebe is played by Tilly Keeper.
Gamble previously stated that she attempted to get Jenna Ortega for season four, but the 20-year-old was preoccupied with playing the renowned Wednesday Addams at the time.
‘I was devastated,’ Jenna revealed at this year’s Screen Actors Guild (Sag) Awards. ‘ One of my favourite sets I’ve been on.’
‘I was so so devastated. I miss Ellie, and I’ve been wanting to go back to Ellie for a long time, but I was in Romania shooting Wednesday.’
YOU: Season 4 Part 2 premieres on Thursday March 9 on Netflix.
