Jameela Jamil hilariously joked that her vagina is the ‘real She-Hulk’ as she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The 36-year-old plays super strong villain Titania in Marvel’s new series, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.
The series, based on the Marvel comic, stars Orphan Black icon Tatiana Maslany and had been hugely anticipated by fans of the MCU.
Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jameela joked to guest host Nikki Glaser about her vagina being the ‘real She-Hulk,’ after she ‘annoyed’ Marvel with a particular request that ‘created a dispute’.
‘Why are you messing with Marvel? Don’t you want to keep working? They’re not going away. So, what did you do?’ Nikki questioned.
‘I’m annoying everywhere,’ Jameela replied, explaining that the first stunt that Marvel Studios chose included Tatiana’s She-Hulk punching Jameela’s Titania in the stomach.
‘I felt, we have seen so many men kicked in the balls on television for such a long time,’ Jameela said, continuing: ‘We’ve never seen a woman just socked right in the ”vagine.” And I believe in equality.
‘So, therefore, I wanted, I begged for, I can’t believe they’re so cool that they let me give them the take of what it would look like if She-Hulk punched me in the p****.’
She added: ‘I think we can all agree, thank god I am not in charge of editing Marvel. They made the right decision,’ after showing an unaired clip of Titania being punched.
Nikki asked: ‘I don’t know, that looked pretty awesome. I’m just worried about, did your vagina get CTE [chronic traumatic encephalopathy] after that?’
‘No, she’s fine. She’s strong. She’s the real She-Hulk,’ Jameela joked, hiding her face with laughter.
Nikki chimed in: ‘Don’t make it angry!’
This follows Jameela revealing that she actually sustained an extremely awkward ‘non-injury’ of pulling a muscle in her ‘bum’.
At the premiere of the new series, the star explained that while she was training for the role, she was ‘hurting in places that I really didn’t know exist’.
‘You’ll probably have to bleep this out, but I pulled a muscle in my a*******. I didn’t know that was possible!’ she confessed.
She later shed more light on the situation after fans went into frenzy over her admission.
‘As everyone is so obsessed with how I pulled the muscle in my bum (hole?) It was doing this final innocuous kick here,’ she wrote on Twitter, while sharing a video of her performing some fight choreography.
‘Unexpected and absurd MINOR non-injury that I should NEVER have joked about out loud. On a red carpet. At a world premiere. As a grown adult. Enough now.’
The ‘innocuous kick’ in question saw Jameela approach her sparring partner, before leaning forward and bending her right leg over her back to kick the man in the face.
‘That is a super impressive scorpion kick,’ one fan commented in response.
She-Hulk is available to watch on Disney Plus with new episodes available on Wednesdays.
