Jennifer Aniston has claimed that she still wears some of her Friends costumes to this day – and we don’t blame her.
The 54-year-old rose to fame as Rachel Green in the popular comedy, which aired for ten years beginning in 1994.
Despite the fact that the last episode aired over two decades ago, she still owns some of the ensembles that appeared on the small screen years later.
In a new chat with Wall Street Journal Magazine, the actress explained that she still trots out a floral dress that she nabbed from Courteney Cox’s wardrobe for Monica Geller, as well as a pair of Rachel’s red loafers.
She has also retained what she learned off-screen, like as the bond she had with co-stars Courtney, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc.
The ensemble notably bargained for equal compensation as a group, resulting in a contract worth $1 million each episode at one time.
‘It taught us everything,’ she added of the experience. ‘It would’ve destroyed us, I think, if someone was soaring financially.’
Jennifer previously revealed that she took Courteney’s outfit in a chat with People Magazine, telling the outlet in 2021: ‘I went into her line of clothes and I pulled out a dress that Monica wore.
‘I still have it and wear [it] to this day and it fits. It’s floral with black lace, tiny little flowers, a V-neck and little ruffle cap sleeves.’
During the same conversation, her coworkers pondered on the items they left the set with, and Lisa disclosed she stole Phoebe Buffay’s rings.
Matt, who played Joey, prank-ed with his item by affixing a ‘I Love Friends’ licence plate on David’s car.
In turn, the Ross Geller star kept one of the placards from his position at the museum, while Matthew took a different path, grabbing ‘the cookie jar with a clock on it’ and giving it to Lisa.
Courteney kept her hands to herself at the moment, which she now regrets.
‘I’m not a person that collects things,’ she added to People on the set of the Friends reunion.
‘And then I regret it. I’m actually going to steal something tonight.’
