Joe Lycett is going above and beyond to ensure that individuals who participate in his new programme receive surprise prizes by giving away his very own automobile.
The comic, who has already gone viral for moments such as his World Cup stunt targeted at David Beckham and when he attacked Laura Kuenssberg on TV, is debuting a fresh new late-night show this week.
Beginning this Friday on Channel 4, Late Night Lycett will include the 34-year-old going over the week’s top news items in his unique way, as well as having guests participate in games and skits and allowing the audience the chance to win prizes.
The caveat is that the prizes will be his own property, since he joked that the station “wouldn’t give money” for the winnings.
‘Channel 4 wouldn’t give us any money for prizes and the production team have overreached and are trying to ruin me by giving away my possessions,’ he said.
‘Genuinely one of the things they tried to get me to give away was my house. My actual house. I said no but appeased them with my Lexus Hybrid. The production team are out of control.

‘I am essentially a hostage to this programme and want nothing to do with it. Please do not watch it, it will encourage them.’
Joe is going to start the programme off with a boom this week by giving away his very own Lexus Hybrid.
That’s not his only item up for grabs; he’ll also be giving away his socks, silverware from his house, and one of his comedy awards.
Every week, the show will be aired live from Birmingham’s banks, and anybody may apply to participate in the game show by completing an application online.
There are various qualifying restrictions, including that participants be 18 or older and not presently employed by Channel 4, with all of the relevant points mentioned on the Channel 4 website application page.
The inaugural performance will have an all-star cast of guests, including Alison Hammond, Dame Joanna Lumley, and Katherine Ryan, and we can’t wait to see it!
Late Night Lycett begins on Friday March 31 at 10pm on Channel 4.
