Jonnie Irwin and his wife celebrated their seven-year anniversary with a lovely message after their ‘wonderful’ evening.
The A Place In The Sun host married Jessica Holmes in 2016, and they have three children.
Jonnie, 49, who has terminal disease, posted a photo on Instagram after he and Jessica spent the night together to mark the day they exchanged vows.
The TV celebrity referred to his wife as a ‘angel’ in his caption.
‘7 years married to this Angel. I use this term because the love she shows to others is beyond comparison,’ he wrote.
‘Last night was just us; chatting, planning and gossiping. So good. Amazing food and staff at @lovagejesmond made our evening perfect. #anniversary.’
Jonnie’s fans raced to congratulate the pair on their anniversary.
‘God bless you both and your beautiful family,’ one person commented on Instagram, while another wrote: ‘Happy Anniversary to you both Jonnie ❤️.’
Referencing the presenter’s caption, someone else said: ‘Can’t beat a good gossip, Happy Anniversary guys ❤️.’
Another paid tribute to Jessica, stating: ‘She is such a gem. Happy Anniversary!’
Jonnie expressed his displeasure with his cancer diagnosis last month, noting that it was “on the move.”
He said in November that he didn’t know how long he had to live after lung cancer spread to his brain.
His three boys are ignorant of his illness since he believes that notifying them would ‘confuse’ them given their age.
Jonnie’s latest return to Escape To The Country drew a massive crowd, with one million people watching the show.
‘Well done to all of our team on @escape_country and thanks to you so much for watching, I must admit we had a lot of fun filming this episode,’ he shared on social media after the figures were confirmed.
