We have our Winter Love Island 2023 winners after weeks of hot snogs, hideaway pranks, Casa Amor bust-ups, and meme-worthy moments!
With the elimination of Will Young and Jessie Wynter in the semi-final, the four finalists were Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins, Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, and Tom Clare and Samie Elishi.
Yet there could only be one victorious couple, and that was Kai and Sanam!
With prior Islanders all seated for the event, host Maya Jama stepped inside the South African villa for one more time to give the news to the delighted couple.
We also saw the lovebirds’ final day in paradise, when they confessed their love for one another during a romantic ball before enjoying a farewell dance.
Following a tumultuous time on the programme and a grilling from Shaq’s sister when the families arrived, Shaq and Tanya finished fourth in the public vote.

But she admitted she was expecting a frosty reception, and they’re ready to start a life together on the outside.
Meanwhile, Tom and Samie came in third, gushing over their favourite qualities in one another and declaring that they were ‘official’.
Finally, Ron and Lana narrowly missed out on that £50,000 prize, finishing as runners-up.
They too had a rocky road to the final, but recently became boyfriend and girlfriend, so something tells us they’re too loved-up to care about not winning.

Yet it was Kai and Sanam’s night, as they shared a look of shock when they heard Maya shout their names.
Love Island supporters were ecstatic, having been rooting for Kai and Sanam to win for weeks.
‘WE DID IT GUYS WE MADE KANAM WIN’, one Twitter user celebrated.
‘YES the right couple won!’, exclaimed another.
‘They’re such a gorgeous pair, congrats to Sanam & Kai,’ one reader said, becoming overwhelmed over the teacher and social worker’s bond. The winning pair was the greatest couple. It’s not so much about how long you’ve been together as it is about actual chemistry and connection. I hope your love becomes stronger!’
Sanam is also the first Casa Amor girl to win the ITV2 dating programme, because she married Kai after he selected her over Olivia Hawkins.
Love Island is available to stream on ITVX.
