Kaz Crossley has described her ex-boyfriend Theo Campbell as a “challenging guy to be with” as the former pair co-stars in The Challenge: World Championship.
The Love Island stars got together in March 2019 and appeared to be doing well, with Kaz, 28, standing by her lover, 31, through his terrifying mishap, in which he lost vision in his right eye after being struck by a champagne cork.
The executives are now pitted against one another in The Challenge franchise’s first-ever world tournament.
Each global MVP is matched with a Challenge Legend to build great teams, earn power, and escape elimination in order to advance to the most difficult task of all, the harsh finale, where they will compete for the big prize of $500,000.
During the show’s advertisement, Kaz, who separated with Theo in early 2020, was asked about her breakup from the series three competitor.
‘It was just hard,’ she said.
‘He’s a very hard person to be with.’
Johnny ‘Bananas’ Devenanzio, star of The Challenge, subsequently said that while having both exes in the same room may cause ‘drama,’ he hoped that wouldn’t be the case for Kaz and Theo.
‘I hope it brings Mum and Dad back together,’ he said.
Kaz recently encouraged her followers to avoid mailing hatred to Theo after she revealed her imprisonment in Dubai.
The celebrity shot down wild rumours that he was the ex who she alleges released a drugs film, leading to her imprisonment.
‘That wasn’t Theo!’ she remarked on her Instagram Stories. Please stop giving him abuse since we are now friends and have just finished filming a programme together.
‘It was a relationship that I kept private. Thank you for all the love on my recent video. Love you all x’
The Challenge World Championships is available to stream on Paramount Plus.
