Of course, the family has been a fixture on our television screens over the last few decades, but how did they get famous in the first place?
Here’s what you should know…
How did The Kardashians become famous?
The Kardashians’ spectacular rise began with Kim, who came to popularity as Paris Hilton‘s friend and stylist.
Kim recently thanked the Hilton heiress for ‘giving her a career’ after appearing on Paris’ show The Simple Life and attending many events with her.
Around the same time, Kourtney appeared in a reality show called Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, which featured the rich offspring of celebrities working on a Colorado cattle ranch.
However, the family shot to fame in 2007 when Kris Jenner suggested the concept of a reality programme to Ryan Seacrest at the E! Network.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Kris explained: ‘One night, Deena Katz [Dancing With The Stars’ casting director] came over for dinner and life was swirling around, and she said, “This is a reality show – I think you should really talk to Ryan Seacrest”. So I did.’
The reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians premiered in 2007 and ran for 20 seasons before ending in 2021.
Kim, her sisters Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie, as well as momager Kris Jenner, all participated on the programme, which had several spin-offs.
Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians: The Wedding all aired in 2009, with the last focusing on Khloe’s wedding to Lamar Odom.
Kourtney and Kim Take New York debuted in 2011, with the sisters opening their next Dash store in the big city – while Khloe and Lamar offered fans an intimate peek at their lives as newlyweds.
Other spin-offs have been Khloe and Kourtney Take The Hamptons in 2014, Rob and Chyna in 2016 – focusing on Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s marital lives – and Kylie Jenner‘s 2017 moment in the sun, lives Of Kylie.
Meanwhile, Caitlyn Jenner’s trans journey was the centre of 2015’s I Am Cait, as was how children Kylie and Kendall, as well as the rest of the world, reacted to their parent’s transition.
Who is the richest Kardashian?
While no one in the family is without a little dollars, Kim is said to be the wealthiest.
Forbes dubbed the 42-year-old a billionaire in 2021, with her net worth estimated to be between $1.4bn (£1.1bn) and $1.8bn (£1.4bn).
Kim created three profitable businesses: KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance in 2017, as well as the shape-wear company Skims in 2019. In 2022, she will also launch the skincare firm SKKN BY KIM.
Kim has been studying to become a lawyer in recent years, with a concentration on criminal justice reform.
Kylie Jenner is supposed to be the second richest, with an estimated fortune of $750 million (£590 million), followed by Kris Jenner, who is thought to be worth roughly $230 million (£181 million), and Caitlyn Jenner, who has an estimated net worth of $100 million (£82 million).
