Loose Women’s Kelle Bryan and Janet Street-Porter engaged in a heated argument over Meghan Markle’s explosive interview.
In a wide-ranging discussion with The Cut, the Duchess of Sussex alleged that her children had been branded the N-word, appearing to accuse the press of using it to describe her child.
The former Suits actress, 41, also spoke about attending the 2019 premiere of The Lion King, and a cast member from South Africa pulled her aside.
‘He looked at me, and he’s just like light. He said, “I just need you to know: When you married into this family, we rejoiced in the streets the same we did when Mandela was freed from prison,”‘ she told the outlet.
During Wednesday’s edition of the ITV daytime programme, Kelle explained that Meghan was talking about ‘the negativity that is put towards black people of colour.
‘Her son is a person of colour,’ she said.

‘So he would be protected within that royal bubble, but outside of that what would happen.’
Janet replied: ‘You seem to be implying that British people by default would think less of her son, and there would be a large number of people by default who might think badly of her son because he’s a person of colour or mixed race.
‘But that’s her experience!’ explained Kelly.
‘She’s said that within the royal household that people have made comments about her son’s race. So if that’s the first representation that she’s had, what is she thinking about as a wider community outside.’
She continued: ‘Racism is something that we deal with on a daily basis. She left because of her mental health, she left because she felt that what was happening within the establishment, she couldn’t manage, she couldn’t cope with.’
This comes after panellist Denise Welch clashed with her Loose Women co-stars during Tuesday’s show.
Jane said: ‘You can’t say I want privacy but then she’s inviting the journalists into her life,’ Denise had to literally be held back by Gloria Hunniford as she fumed.
‘She wants privacy from unwanted attention,’ Denise claimed.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12pm on ITV.
