Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her current relationship with Tristan Thompson after their split over his infidelity.
The couple had been planning to have a second child through surrogacy when it was revealed that the LA Lakers star had secretly fathered another son with Maralee Nichols.
They broke up shortly after but later welcomed their son, Tatum, via a surrogate and have maintained a close co-parenting relationship.
Since then, the Good American designer has faced intense rumours that she has taken the athlete back – something she has repeatedly denied.
Giving an update on their situation in the latest episode of the Kardashians, Khloe told mom Kris Jenner: ‘He and I have a great friendship relationship. We get along fine and for my kids, I will put anything to the side.
‘What’s done is done so why would I still be holding on to something? I don’t need to “punish” him because I’m not getting back with him.
‘There’s still boundaries, I definitely put my foot down around a lot of things. No one is just around here chilling if there’s no kids involved.
‘It’s always about the kids. We’re not just hanging out by ourselves or watching TV…’
In a confessional, the mom-of-two explained the ‘boundaries’ she has established with Tristan, and admitted that she ‘understands’ why he might think that they will get back together someday.
‘These boundaries are so important to put into place with Tristan because we’ve been through this before several times,’ she said to the camera.

‘I’ve got back with him after a cheating scandal, so I don’t know if Tristan is thinking, “Oh, wow, just wait it out and eventually she’ll get back with me”. I get why he would think that. So it’s my job to set boundaries that my actions show otherwise.’
‘I keep it very brief and simple and I make sure he knows it’s all about the kids,’ she added. ‘I can’t let those old habits easily come back into my life. It’s just not what I want.’
Khloe and Tristan started dating in 2016, and welcomed their daughter, True, two years later – but their bond shattered after it was revealed that the NBA star was unfaithful while the reality star was pregnant.
They were able to work through their problems before their romance collapsed once again when the dad-of-four kissed Jordyn Woods on a night out.
During the pandemic, they reunited while isolating together but things fell apart when Maralee gave birth to her son with Tristan – with the fallout captured in season one of the Kardashians.
