Kim Kardashian has teased that viewers will see a ‘vulnerable’ side of her family when season two of the Kardashians premieres this week.
The first series ended in typically dramatic form when it emerged that Tristan Thompson had secretly fathered another child while he was still dating Khloe Kardashian.
It was later revealed that the former couple had decided to move ahead with plans to add to their family, before welcoming a son via surrogate last month.
During an appearance on Good Morning America earlier today, the 41-year-old explained that the first episode might be a lot ‘deeper’ than fans expect.
‘We haven’t done any promos on it. We’re not going to,’ she told host Michael Strahan.
‘It’s a really, seriously deep, vulnerable episode that we haven’t talked about, so I think people will be really surprised.

‘Hopefully they’ll enjoy getting to see the first episode. This season is just about so much independence for me.
‘I think you see me making decisions for myself. Obviously, I’m always thinking about my kids, but generally just doing things for myself.’
What could that possibly mean?
Kim also shed light on how the gang manage to navigate the spotlight and superstardom together, amid the ‘noise’ from others.
‘We have each other, we have us as a support system,’ she added. ‘I couldn’t do it without my family.
‘When there is maybe a little too much noise, everybody’s there just to be like, “We know what is real. We know what is happening. This doesn’t matter. Let’s all just come back to what we know and that is each other”.
‘I feel so grateful we had all of those experiences as the same time so we can really lean on each other.’
The Kardashians will be back on our screens on September 22, with a dramatic trailer shedding light on how the famous family have been spending their days.
Much of the focus is on Khloe, who ended her romance with Tristan at the beginning of the year.
‘Going through what I went through was incredibly hard,’ the mom-of-two told the cameras.
‘I just feel that I’m a fish in a fishbowl.’
Speaking of her new son, she added: ‘It’s going to be really exciting and I am ready.’
Babies appear to be the theme of series two, as Kylie Jenner also opened up about her new addition with boyfriend Travis Scott.
‘I should be really happy right now, I just had this new baby,’ she added of her post-natal struggles.
‘But I cried non-stop for like three weeks.’
