In it, the Kardashian star has peroxide blonde hair, thick lashes, and a metallic red lip.
The video opens with all three wearing similar outfits as they peek into the camera through magnifying glasses, followed by a tense performance of Rockabye Baby.
Clones dressed in platinum blonde wigs and medical gowns begin dancing in an unsettling circle before the teaser cuts to other scenes from the season.
In one, Nancy Drew actor Emma is resting down on an examination table when she gets a forehead kiss, while in another, Cara is holding up a crimson syringe teeming with spiders.
The video then transitions to what looks to be an egg being fertilised, followed by Emma’s character’s blood-curdling scream.
Kim is then seen clutching what seems to be a big spider in her pregnant abdomen.
More spiders appear amid the clones’ choreography, before a climactic moment in which an egg falls out of a nest and cracks open to reveal thousands of the crawling critters.
Kim gets trapped in her own spider’s web towards the end, holding her newborn and staring directly at the camera.
Kim has allegedly worked with an acting coach to prepare for her role on American Horror Story, which was developed by Ryan Murphy with the mother-of-four in mind.
Ryan, 57, has already commented about Kim’s involvement in the 12th season, indicating that spectators can anticipate a ‘fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role.’
‘This season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done,’ he teased to The Hollywood Reporter.
The episodes will be inspired by Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel Delicate Condition, which follows a woman who believes someone is preventing her pregnancy.
Due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, American Horror Story: Delicate will now be divided into two parts and slightly delayed.
American Horror Story: Delicate part 1 airs on FX on September 20.
