Kim Woodburn has pushed Holly Willoughby to follow Phillip Schofield‘s lead and leave This Morning.
Following days of speculations of a disagreement, the 61-year-old revealed on Saturday that he would be departing the ITV daytime programme with ‘immediate effect’.
According to reports, Phil and the Wylde Moon founder, 42, had been ‘barely communicating’ behind the scenes, and their friendship had ‘dwindled.’
While Phil said he was still ‘best friends’ with his Dancing on Ice co-star, Holly never addressed the fallout claims publicly, despite paying respect to him following his departure.
It’s unknown who will take Phil’s position on This Morning, and Holly, who will continue on the show, will not present the show on Monday due to an early half-term break.
Kim Woodburn, commenting on Phil’s departure, told the GB News on Saturday that he ‘applied his common sense’ and departed after seeing ‘his situation was untenable.’
‘It’s the right thing to do,’ the cleaning queen, 81, added.
Reflecting on her experiences as a guest on This Morning, Kim said: ‘You could tell he was king on that show. I mean, he was really ruling the roost. And whenever I’ve been on with him, he hasn’t been very pleasant.
‘He wasn’t pleasant about my experience on Big Brother. He was downright nasty. He was sniggering at me.’
She continued: ‘The game’s up. Everything’s out about him. It’s all been exposed. He’s gone.’
Kim also slammed Holly, saying she was ‘hoping and praying’ that she would leave This Morning as well.
‘Now the only thing I’m praying and hoping for is that little Miss Holly Willoughby has the foresight to go because she’s unwanted,’ she added. She is unable to continue. You’re thinking about Phil and Holly.’
Kim proceeded to chastise Holly for failing to confront Phil when he was being ‘rude’ to guests.
The How Clean Is Your House star has previously slammed Holly, labelling her ‘two-faced,’ as well as Phil ‘obnoxious.’
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
