When Lewis Capaldi makes an announcement, you know he’s going to go all out… and his most recent is no exception.
The Scottish singer-songwriter stunned fans by revealing that he had produced a Netflix documentary, which will be released next month.
Of course, in typical Lewis fashion, the 26-year-old couldn’t simply send out a tweet; he had to dress up as the most recognisable characters from the streaming service’s shows.
Nothing will make you want to see the documentary more than this.
Beginning off strong in the announcement video, the Bruises hitmaker looks like a princess in a Bridgerton-style gown and a golden tiara.
Squid Game follows, with Lewis dressed as one of the Masked Men – but it’s immediately evident who’s underneath when he flashes the finger guns.
The Korean drama is followed by Tiger King, with the Pointless frontman looking just like Tiger King’s Joe Exotic in the wacky outfit, blonde shaggy wig, and moutsache.
Then there’s Orange is the New Black, in which Lewis plays one of the convicts dressed in an orange jumpsuit.
His last appearance is that of a Money Heist bank robber before morphing into Wednesday Addams in a black short dress and gothic wig.
Nobody does it better than Lewis Capaldi.
We do get to see the award-winning celebrity as his typical self in the conclusion, when he appears in a hoodie to announce the title of his documentary, How I’m Feeling Now.
He added in an Instagram caption: ‘I made a NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY!!! it’s called “How I’m Feeling Now” and comes out 🌍 on April 5th! pretty terrified for everyone to see this if I’m quite honest, but I’m so so proud of it ❤️ x’
Unsurprisingly, fans were ecstatic with the parody, dubbing it the “greatest promo ever” and counting down the days until the documentary was released.
‘This was not on my 2023 bingo card, but you’re slaying it,’ one person said.
Another user proposed it win best documentary at the Oscars next year.
‘Omg I thought it was a joke but so excited to see it!!! 👏🔥’, one fan commented.
‘Voting for you to wear the first fit on tour soon’, another joked, clearly impressed by his Bridgerton attire.
While it is just March, Lewis has had a fantastic year so far, performing to thousands of fans around the country on his stadium tour.
He also got a kiss from Harry Styles at the Brits and is due to perform at Radio 1’s Big Weekend this May.
Lewis Capaldi’s documentary, How I’m Feeling Now, lands on Netflix on April 5.
