Charlene White has revealed her Loose Women co-star Linda Robson ‘allegedly snuck sleeping pills’ into the jungle during her stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
And now, Linda’s advised Charlene to do the same.
Charlene will be joining the likes of Boy George, Love Island’s Olivia Attwood and the camp’s first ever royal, Mike Tindall as the new batch of celebs face some pretty grim bushtucker trials.
Linda appeared on I’m A Celeb back in 2012, where she came in 12th place.
Revealing that she had been given some advice by the former I’m A Celeb contestant, Charlene told Metro.co.uk and other publications: ‘Linda Robson suggested that I try and sneak sleeping pills into my bra.
‘Allegedly she did that when she did this, but I definitely will not be doing that!’
Speaking about whether her Loose Women co-stars will be voting for her to do the bushtucker trials, Charlene revealed: ‘I think Coleen [Nolan] and Denise [Welch] would definitely find it really funny.
‘Nadia [Sawalha] definitely wouldn’t because she’s very much an empath, and would be like, “We can’t put her through that.”
‘Janet [Street-Porter] probably would vote for me because she’d kill herself laughing, it would be less about trying to torture me and more about them thinking it would absolutely crack them up.’
Charlene also admitted Janet would be her ‘nightmare’ campmate.
Speaking about who she wouldn’t want to join her in the jungle, she told us: ‘I love Janet to bits but it would probably be Janet.’
Charlene went on to explain: ‘Just because she likes things done in a certain way and she doesn’t suffer fools and she’d be whipping everybody into shape and all of that stuff, and sometimes you just want to sit and chill.’
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are returning to Australia this year with a new batch of celebs, all ready to be put through their paces in some grim and gruesome trials.
This will be the show’s first series Down Under since the pandemic hit, after the crew bid farewell to the beloved Gwrych Castle in North Wales where the previous two series have taken place.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! launches on Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
