Olivia Attwood, a panellist on Loose Women, had to skip their Christmas party owing to an eye injury.
The Love Island star, who features on the ITV show alongside Linda Robson and Coleen Nolan, posted a photo of her bandaged eye.
She wrote: ‘Was meant to be off to @loosewomen Christmas lunch.. but my eye had other ideas.’
Meanwhile, social media users reported seeing Christine Lampard and Judi Love at the event, which included a holiday quiz and a Christmas lunch.
The 32-year-old did not elaborate on her injuries, but earlier this year she spoke about the medical news that prompted her to leave I’m A Celebrity after only 24 hours.
Shortly after her axe, Olivia told Jamie Laing’s Private Parts podcast: ‘It was basically a massive f**k up really. I was in there, I was fine, and they do routine medicals every few days.
‘We’d had a really long day and I’m always on the lower end of blood pressure because I’m tall and slim, and they just did all these tests late one evening, and they were just like, they were worried about these tests.
‘They were like, “Everything is really low”.‘
She added she got the all-clear from a hospital: ‘They took me to a private hospital and they tested me, and they were like, “We’re happy.” So we had an overnight debate because the insurers were like, “The tests dropped this low.”
‘The hospitals sometimes say, “Take it with a pinch of salt,” and the insurance said no because if she collapses… So it was basically red tape.’
Olivia wept all the way back from the jungle following the devastating news: ‘I don’t cry… and I cried the whole way back from Australia – the whole flight.’
Katie Piper, a panellist on Loose Women, recently provided her own medical update after having her eye stitched shut.
After an acid assault in 2008, the presenter, 40, sustained life-changing injuries and burns, including in one eye, and has since had rehabilitative treatments and surgeries.
She’d earlier stated that the procedure was performed to “preserve the eye, avoid perforation, and completely lose my eye.”
Katie marked her return to Loose Women last week, where she explained: ‘I’ve had a lot of problems with my eye in the last year and a half, I don’t like to go on about it because there’s always somebody worse off.
‘It’s been quite painful so it’s quite a relief for me to finally have it stitched up, because it’s a lot more comfortable.
‘It’s not permanent, it’s going to be for just about a year like this then hopefully I can have it opened.’
Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
