Lorraine Kelly is clearly fed up with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s prolonged divorce fight.
The former couple, who had a 12-year romance and marriage until parting in 2016, have been embroiled in a legal battle when Angelina, 47, sold a stake in their Chateau Miraval winery to Tenute del Mondo, a subsidiary of Stoli Group.
This spurred her ex-husband Brad, 59, to file a lawsuit, alleging they had a’mutual and binding promise’ to never sell their share of the company without the other’s approval.
In 2008, the pair paid €25 million buy the property, and with the help of winemaker Marc Perrin, they built a worldwide best-selling rosé brand.
The ITV presenter, 63, reviewed the latest developments with an overseas reporter on Wednesday’s edition of the morning show.
‘I thought Brad and Angelina had divorced ages ago, this is dragging on isn’t it,’ she said.
In court documents obtained by the Financial Times, it has been claimed Brad had acted like a ‘petulant child’ while engaging in a ‘blatant money grab’ over the property.
Before Lorraine and the entertainment correspondent moved on to the next topic, the host exclaimed: ‘It’s exhausting.’
According to court filings filed last month in Los Angeles Superior Court, the Fight Club actor insisted on having first refusal on his ex-wife’s half of the vineyard.
Angelina Jolie announced in January 2006 that she was pregnant with their first biological child, Shiloh, who was born in May 2006.
Before adopting their twins, Knox and Vivienne, in 2008, she and Brad shared Maddox, who was adopted from Cambodia, Zahara, who was adopted from Ethiopia, and Pax, who was adopted from Vietnam.
Angelina and Brad married in April 2012 after seven years together, but divorced in 2016 and are currently fighting over custody of their children.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
