Louise Redknapp was beaming as she discussed her new love.
The singer, 48, just recently disclosed her new younger lover, aerospace CEO Drew Michael, 39, but she has now revealed more about their budding romance.
On Wednesday’s This Morning, the Eternals singer was questioned about her new boyfriend and said she was “very happy.”
Beaming, Louise continued: ‘I’m very happy. He’s great, lovely. It’s really nice. It’s been a really long time for me. I’ve been on my own for a long time so it’s lovely to have met someone who makes me so happy.’
Louise had remained coy when previously grilled about Drew, telling the Mirror:‘It’s so difficult with your personal life… it’s all good.’
She continued: ‘Yeah, I’ve got nothing else to say on it, everything about it has already been written.’
Drew was a military officer before becoming the CEO of Overwatch Aerospace.
He now handles the delivery of military equipment to the British Army and Royal Marines, a long cry from Louise’s entertainment beginnings.
After divorcing her footballer spouse Jamie Redknapp in 2018, Louise revealed in May that she is ‘open’ to dating again.
Louise and Jamie divorced in 2017 after 19 years of marriage and two kids, Charley, 19, and Beau, 14, with Jamie afterwards marrying model Frida Andersson.
Raphael, Charley and Beau’s half-brother, was born in 2021 to the couple.
The artist recently made news after withdrawing from discussions for an Eternal reunion, stating that former bandmates Easther, 50, and Vernie, 52, believed the homosexual community had been ‘hijacked’ by the trans community.
Addressing the claims, she said on Loose Women: ‘For me, I think I’ve always been open… I feel I would have always loved to have done a reunion with the girls and I’ve been very open about that over the years.
‘I just feel passionate the LGBTQ+ community were involved and included. It’s just that simple. I have a lot of love for what we’ve done together.’
